Seeds of Compassion wants NVC to be represented there.

4) LAUREL'S PROPOSAL ON NCC PROPOSAL PROTOCOL
(TO BE CONTINUED AT JAN 22 MEETING)

Laurel's proposal follows. Laurel will come to CC till it is completed and acted on.
Laurel expressed concern about the sociocratic decison process being used to handle items that impact multiple circles. This proposal is designed to present a workable approach to deal with items that impact both circles, minimizing the amount of reduced ease.

Proposal

1. The process for handling proposals potentially impacting both CC and the ITC is as follows:

a. Either Circle may develop a proposal

b. Send the proposal to the other Circle to share information

c. If agreement is not reached quickly, a giraffe dance or other methods will be used to explore the potential for agreement on the proposal.

d. Each Circle will endeavor to respond in a timely manner, with a goal of responding within one month. (This will be facilitated by the new ITC Business Circle)

e. If agreement is not reached, the proposal will be referred to the CC for final decision-making

2. The remainder of this proposal applies the above process to specific situations.

3. The ITC will vote on the Access to Web Site Policy using sociocracy within one month of adoption of this proposal by the CC. The Policy is: The ITC will vote on the Access to Web Site Policy using sociocracy within one month of adoption of this proposal by the CC. The Policy is:

a. When the Independent Training Circle becomes an NCC circle, members can post trainings on the NCC website by having the sponsorship of an NCC Training Circle member. That means an NCC Training Circle member has observed the ITC member's trainings, has confidence in the integrity of the training, and has notified the Training Circle of that confidence. ITC members agree to post only NVC trainings, and not mix teaching NVC with teaching other modalities. NCC would like to receive a free will financial offering to contribute to the ongoing costs of operations. NCC will process online credit card transactions for 10% of credit card income. ((Moreah wanted to promote the proposal that ITC have a deciding voice re ITC members listed on Web Site, since ITC is also committed to the integrity of NVC re trainers we promote.

b. If agreement is not reached on this policy it will be referred to the CC for final decision-making.

4. The ITC requests that the Training Circle share other policies that could potentially impact both circles for an ITC sociocratic vote. The ITC will conduct the Sociocratic vote within one month of receiving the policies.
