Via phone, 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm
1) Discussion @ Indie Circle: Request to be an NCC circle and accept two reps to serve on NCC Central Circle. (Anna is very interested to be a rep. No one yet interested in being a Functional Leader)
ACTION ITEM: Barb or Doug: invite Anna to sit on the CC on behalf of the ITC without voting, until it’s decided if the ITC AIM is more in harmony with NCC and CNVC vision, mission. Also, invite them to next CC meeting. Send them perspective agenda.
We can send communication to the Indie Yahoo group: Independenttrainingcircle @ yahoogroups.com.
ACTION ITEM: Barb or Doug will invite Indie Circle to third Thursday trainer meeting.
ACTION ITEM: Barb will let people know that CC meetings are open to observers aka CNVC board meetings ;) Use Northwest Compassionate Communication Conference call # 605-990-0200 code # 1090345
2) AIM of NCC: see CNVC’s…Laurel will send Barb notes of our discussion. Laurel’s question: What does it mean to “support CNVC”?
Be connected through sociocratic circles up through the General Coordinating Council.
Tithing $ to CNVC- Certified Trainers give 10% of NVC income. Indie trainers could tithe something else, that they decide. Ie: 5%
Once Marshall releases statement @ Social Change component, representatives participate in NCC decision @ implementing Marshall’s ideas into our aim. Then, all trainers participate in some way in a Social Change project.
Certified Trainers of NCC want to support Cert Trainer Candidates (that’s in the Aim of Training Circle)
Do Indie Trainers feel connected to CNVC? Do they want to?
3) DECISION: Doug will turn over accounting to an accountant of Doug’s choice. Writes all checks (which goes out for signature), filing 501-c3 reports, all other accounting reports. @ $20/hour @ 10 hours per month = $200 per month.
ACTION ITEM: DOUG will give books to accountant so she can get our books up to date through at least May.
4) Admin Job: 5 hours a week @ $20 per hour.
Interface w/ web tech, process mail, filing, interface w/ CC rep, registration support, credit card payments, deposits, enter some info into quicken (depending on what Accountant wants to do herself) = $400 per month.
5) Pan: website budget ~ $200 per month
6) Event Coordinator: pr, venue, trainer contract, registration, money tracking. The Event Coordinator would support individual trainers if they’re asked, at a certain percentage of the income, to be paid by the trainer. 20% percentage of percentage goes to EC. We guarantee $6000 for first year (8 events).
7) Paying for Admin and Accountant: What are trainers willing to contribute to help pay for the Admin and Accountant?
ACTION ITEM: Doug or Barb will find out which trainers have contributed the 10% to NCC in 2006, and who is contributing for this year.
8) INSURANCE FOR TRAININGS DONE UNDER NCC:
ACTION ITEM: DOUG WILL RESEARCH COVERAGE FOR TRAININGS, BOARD AND INDIVIDUAL SESSIONS DONE BY INDIVIDUAL TRAINERS
