(Independent Trainer)

Pam Orbach

The epiphany moment in my life was discovering Nonviolent Communication (NVC). Experiencing my own profound transformation resulted in new meaning and purpose:

To support the accessibility of NVC consciousness and practice in the world – a paradigm shift – involving increased self-awareness, authentic communication, and integrity in action and decision-making.

I currently consult with and support businesses, organizations, educational institutions, families, couples and individuals to achieve the vision of what they can fully be. Nonviolent communication and restorative justice principals and practices are the heart of all my work.

Self Care Leadership Project (Pam Orbach, Kristen Jawad) (The Workshop Space - Greenwood Seattle)

"You can't pour from an empty cup." If It seems counterintuitive to spend time nurturing and connecting to yourself, when there is so much need for action out in the world. The question is, "What would it be possible to do, if you felt fully nourished, abundantly resourced and grounded?" Less burnout -More effective actions and empowerment for social change. We are creating a community that will be intentional about self-care in a way that has integrity with our values, and that sustains us for the long haul. If you’re involved in social change or service work in some way, if you feel depleted and you’re interested in developing deepening practices of self-care, we invite you to join us.

Garden Project Open Work Party (Pam Orbach, Marisa Hendron) (The Workshop space (Greenwood) Seattle)

What comes up for you when you hear there currently is a year long "Training" in process, that has brought together people wanting to integrate NVC into their daily experience - who have been learning in a workshop setting, and then applying the learning by building an urban farm and yard in conjunction with permaculture, and inquiring into the needs of the land and plants, and balancing that with their own needs? We hope curiosity comes up for you... This community invite you to join them for an open day where they will be on hand to give you a taste of what they are embracing and learning, as you join in planting in sync with the coming of the rains that will nourish the plants as they establish themselves. We will work, laugh and nourish our empathy buds, have lunch together and celebrate creative interdependence. Please join us- no charge.
