Date and Time:

   Sat, Apr 22, 2017

10:30 AM - 5:30 PM

As I face the political climate change now in my own backyard, I am reminded of a time that my ancestors experienced in 1930's Europe, and I feel a strong need to do-- something--. I spoke to two colleagues and asked them if they would facilitate a workshop that many are anxious for. It is a means to come together to explore, feel and discuss race and racism in our community. I am gathering a group of people for such a workshop, by invitation only to support creating a safe space. NOT OPEN TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC.

  • Discuss white privilege and its deleterious effects on all of us
  • Explore tactics and practical tips to deal with racism
  • Strategize: How can I make a difference?
  • Plan: Where do we go from here? Follow-up actions and commitments

Who is it for?

Whether you identify as a person of color, or you are a person with white privilege, join us in this solution-oriented community response, to dismantle racism, and heal the effects of racism in our personal lives, communities and systems.
