   This experiential retreat will help you integrate practical NVC tools through story, understanding, play, demonstration, and a heart-connected approach.

In an atmosphere of deep trust:

This is a unique opportunity to support your well-being in a natural paradise!  You will be nurtured by gentle people serving delicious vegetarian meals, hiking options in an old-growth forest, and many choices for soaking in hot springs overlooking a natural meadow and mighty river.

FRED SLY and LIV MONROE will co-facilitate, tailoring this retreat to you, focusing on enhancing the quality of connection and empathy in all of your relationships, especially the one with yourself.

Fred and Liv, both certified CNVC trainers, will deepen this Basic Skills Compassionate Communication© retreat into personal transformation.

For questions and to choose your accommodations call Liv at (360)357-4503. Accommodations costs vary and include 4 nights, all meals and the use of the tubs and other facilities.  The workshop fee is $330 minus $30 for early registration.

Liv is a long term member of "Northwest Compassionate Communication."  You are probably reading this on their web site, www.nwcompass.org. Since 1999 she has been providing  community, family, and court ordered mediations.  Liv teaches NVC in schools to students and staff, in organizations and businesses, as well as for families and the general public. Liv also coaches (individuals, couples and groups) and facilitates Restorative Circles. She lives in a cohousing community in Olympia, Washington.

Fred has 16 years experience offering NVC training to individuals, couples, families, groups, and organizations, as well as coaching, mediation, and consulting services through his Portland, OR practice (www.rosecitynvc.org).  Since 2002 he has been offering NVC in prisons, and founded the Oregon Prison Project (www.oregonprisonproject.org), which offers NVC trainings in six Oregon Prisons (including Oregon State Penitentiary) and two post-release programs.  Fred's doctorate in Clinical Psychology focused on the power of empathy in reducing violence in our lives.

Who is it for?

  We welcome beginning to advanced Nonviolent Communication practitioners.

What to bring:

  Bring bedding including sheets, blankets, pillows, and towels (or reserve a bedding set. The cost is $18 for one person, $24 for two in one bed).

Writing materials

Swimming suits are not required in the natural hot pools.


Tuition Details:

  

The tuition is: $330 plus Room and Board depending on your chosen accommodations--call Liv to choose.

Workshop Tuition:  $330    ($300 if paid by April 30)

Room and Board cost for 4 nights, 12 meals, and use of facilities. Cost varies by type of accommodation: $284 with own tent, $344 in Breitenbush tent, $466 in cabin, or $548 in cabin with bathroom.  Call Liv to secure your preference, tent and cabin availability is limited.

Deposit:  Full Room and Board cost plus $50 towards tuition. In order to know the amount of your deposit contact Liv to choose your accommodations. Write checks to Liv Monroe and mail to: Liv Monroe 1620 Woodard Ave NW Unit B4 Olympia, WA 98502. PayPal arrangements may be made with Liv.

Payment:  If full tuition is not paid at time of registration,  the remainder is due on 06/07/2017.


Cancellations and Refunds:

   Refund minus $50 up to April 15, 2016.  After this time refund minus $50 only if Breitenbush doesn't charge organizers for this person's room.
