Practice Groups Looking for Members

Practice Groups provide a cost-effective and supportive space for ongoing NVC training to build skills for authentic expression and to engage in empathic connection. The list below is not a comprehensive list of practice groups. However all of the groups listed below are open to new members.

Some groups have requested NVC past experience, as noted in the description. Please note ending dates where they are posted.

If you don't see a group that meets your needs or wish to learn how to START A NEW GROUP. You can also e-mail K a r e n AT DOMAIN nwcompass~org for more assistance.

Please know that Northwest Compassionate Communication does not develop, provide or endorse individual practice groups. Practice groups operate with autonomy and with or without a trainer and offer a variety of approaches to the process. We suggest that you ask questions of a group regarding their process in order to best determine how your needs are met.

OTHER / 98501: Empathy Café: “Would you like to add more peace to our world?”
“Would you like to experience more inner peace within yourself?”
“Would you like more connections with people in your life?”
“Did you ever wonder how you can help the world to become a more wonderful place to live?”

We are hosting an Empathy Café because we believe that the practice of empathic listening and authentic speaking helps us make life more wonderful, and builds the capacity for more connection and compassion in the world.

You are invited to practice with us. For those new, we offer some structure and guidance to help you get started. For those experienced, you can really contribute to holding the space. To be clear - this is not a workshop where we teach you, this is a space to practice!
